BIRT Exchange Marketplace

The BIRT Exchange Marketplace is a showcase for both apps and services and made available to the BIRT community to foster an open and vibrant business environment focused on BIRT. This marketplace is the place where any developer or company can buy, sell and share apps, solutions and components for BIRT and BIRT-related products.

BIRT onDemand

BIRT onDemand is a Platform as a Service (PAAS) offering from Actuate, which allows users to host BIRT-based data visualization apps on a hosted, cloud based platform. BIRT onDemand is currently in public BETA and offers the following features:

BIRT Global Partner Connection

Actuate has created a Global Partner Connection of companies, consultants and organizations that make use of BIRT in their commercial and open source products and services.

Actuate Products and Services

The BIRT (Business Intelligence Reporting Tools) product line is used by Java, Eclipse and PHP developers to integrate data visualizations and reports into applications and by report developers to create rich, interactive web reports for end users. The product line consists of visual designers that are used to define data access and layouts for reports and visualizations, deployment options to execute, generate and manage BIRT reports, and viewers through which end users interact with web pages and reports.

BIRT User Groups

Online communities are great for research and collaboration but face-to-face meetings can also be very useful for BIRT users. BIRT user groups give developers and users a chance to meet and interact with their peers in local organizations. BIRT has become a valuable skill and people want to talk about it!

Networking and learning are often better facilitated in a live group meeting

  1. Technical/product information can be tailored to the group and Q&A addressed easily and quickly
  2. Peers are encouraged to get to know each other and exchange knowledge
  3. Subject matter experts have opportunities to share their expertise and experiences
