BIRT Exchange Forum: Raghava - Viewing Profile

Hi All.

I am working on a chart plugin which requires at least 2 category series and one value series. Here my problem is, I need to display category values(Axis labels - text) on Y axis also. How can I implement y axis category series. Should I hide actual Y axis and then display text and give impression like it is Y axis.

Please find the attached image. Can I implement this chart as 'chart with out axes' to solve above issue.

Kindly help me out.

Hi All,

I am working on a new chart type and need to display string values as axis labels. Like 'item1','item2'(x-axis) in the attached chart image. I want to achieve this in the chart plug-in code and don't want to use java script or event handlers.Kindly help me out.

Hi All,

I am working on a new chart type.For that,I have to create a genmodel from a xsd file. xsd model is importing 'model.xsd' from 'org.eclipse.birt.chart.engine'. But I can't see any file with name model.xsd inside that jar.And genmodel creation is throwing error saying that unable to import.Kindly help me out.I am using Birt2.6.2.
