hi,

i want to create a bar chart with bars stacked on above the other.

but i need two optional y series groupes (one with severity and one with priority)

x axis would be per location and y series would count each y series groupes seperated in a bar.

thx for your help.

Would embedding your chart in a table grouped by priority, so that there was a separate chart for each priority, work?

Maybe I'm confused on what you're wanting, based on your image above. From what I gathered from the large "Group" block behind the other bars was that you wanted all of those bars for each priority group, which is why I suggested having a table grouped by priority with a separate chart for each. Can you try explaining it a little differently? Maybe I'll understand the second time. :) A small sample of data might be helpful with your explanation, too. Thanks!

Michael

I've got a couple different options that could work. One involves creating your own legend using grids and hiding the actual chart legend. The other requires that there's the same number of options for Priority as there is for Severity. In your sample data, this is the case. In your image above, it's not. Both of these involve using a scripted dataSet to manipulate your data layout. Either way, the biggest issue seems to be getting the legend to look right.
