Hi,

Having trouble getting the "From" address on my report notification emails to read what I want it to.

Have entered the desired address in the "Sender e-mail address" and "Sender name" fields in the config console but to no effect. The from address still says birt@[my machine's name here].

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Luke

Luke,

What version of the iServer are you using?
Have you recycled the iServer processes since having made the modifications?

Best Regards,

Luke,

You would need to shut down the iServer and associated processes either by logging into the Configuration Console and clicking "Stop System", or using the Operating System commands to perform similar functions, such as:

Unix/Linux: $AC_SERVER_HOME/bin/shutdown_srvr.sh
Windows: Start --> Run --> services.mmc --> Find Actuate 11 in the list --> Click to Highlight --> Click Stop button
