hi

i have ten's of Reports on my project, i want to Configure Connection Profile for that


Please any one Colud explain procedure for that

Connection profiles are a pain. Why do not use a BIRT library to share a single datasource across multiple reports? see: http://www.theserver...s-and-Templates

hi cbrell,


i want to maintain single dbname, ip address , username accross all reports,

you provided a link but in that i didn't find any thing about, what i have mentioned,,


please give me some suggestion or about it

but i unable to find what i have required (Configuration of Connection Profile in Birt, Can you give some suggestion on it)

You are right, the article ony mentions how to create report elements using a library. If you created a library file you can simply add a data source to this library like you do in a single report. After that save the library file and import it into a report (the article mentions how to do that). After that drag and drop the data source element into your report (described in the article).
After that you should end up having the data source in your report (the data source icon has a small lock in the report outline telling you that it comes from the library and is not part of your design file)
