Hi ,

I am using maximo 7 and want to add some reports which use external datasource ie. using jdbc and i want to add this report on maximo but while creating report in BIRT it stores database credentials in report template we dont want to use them ? is it possible to add one library file on maximo and BIRT can use its credential to generate reports.
Please help me on this topic

I am not sure this is possible (never tried). You might want to try to put the library in:

C:\IBM\SMP\maximo\reports\birt\libraries

...and then rebuild and redeploy the application it might automatically place the new library in the right location where BIRT reports will need them.

Thanks for your update, found one solution that need to create library for jdbc datasource and add it in maximo application . and this library can access report template.
