I am unable to create iServer profile in BIRT Designer Pro.

iServer : 10 SP1 Fix 2 version

Actuate BIRT Designer Professional
Version: 11.0.3
Build id: 20111028

Did i miss to set up any configuration here?

Hi lnallamalli,
Make sure your iServer service is up and running, you can test this by logging into Information Console(iportal).

Hi Ashwini, Thanks for your response. My iServer is up and running and i am able to run reports there.

I just started using Actuate BIRT Designer Professional and the issue is not able to create iServer profile in Eclipse. So, unable to publish templates there.

Is it version conflicts?
iServer version : 10 SP1 Fix 2 version
Actuate BIRT Designer Professional Version: 11.0.3 Build id: 20111028

or Is it License issue? or do i have to set up any configuration?

Appreciate your help.

I would not suggest trying to utilize a newer version of the BIRT Designer Professional with a previous version of the iServer.
The reports are likely not to work due to a version mismatch.

Reports from 10SP1 Fix 2 will work on a 11SP3 Server, but not necessarily the other way around which from your post it looks like you are trying to use the 11SP3 Designer to publish reports to 10SP1.

Are you planning on updating the iServer in the near future to match the version of the BIRT Report Designer Professional that you are using to create your reports?

Yes, We are planning on updating the iServer in the near feature.

I just noticed, we are getting below message in file encycsrvr10.exe.5072.****.log as and when clicking new iServer profile.

****0000007068*acsoapworker.cpp*00306*08000*2012APR04*09:57:24
AcSoapRequest::ProcessRequest() No Message Handler found For Request : GetSystemVolumeNames RequestID:

Any Idea? Is it because of Antivirus?

You may want to try connecting with version 11 iServer and see if you have success with it.
