We've added a new feature to BIRT Exchange that displays member Awards on forum posts and DevShare articles & comments in the form of badges. We plan to offer more awards in the future and the entire list can be found on the BIRT Exchange Awards Wiki page.

Awards will be used to better recognize our members for participating and contributing to BIRT Exchange. The entire community appreciates the time members take to answer questions and submit content to the site and we hope these awards will help identify those who are the most active participants and those who generously share their expertise with the rest of us.

Our plans are to add exploration and task-based activities with associated badges in the future (for those who wish to participate). These tasks will be geared to help us know our members better and to improve our understanding BIRT community needs -- plus add an element of fun and some friendly competition for those who enjoy a challenge!

You can find all the badges assigned to you on your My Profile page (top right of this screen if you're logged in) under the new Awards tab.

We expect to make some tweaks and improvements over time based on the feedback we receive, so please tell us what you think and let us know if you have any suggestions.
