hi there,

i am trying to put several colored fields in that cool google maps app. but im unable to change the color of the fields.

actuate.birt.maps.initArea("<value-of>row["name"]</value-of>", color, 0.8, 1, color, 0.3);

this works fine in the designer but when i try it out in the dashboard the color is always a grey green one and won't change no matter what color i define. i thought it might be that this variable is already in use and renamed it but that did not help.

help is really appreciated.

initArea is used to create areas, and not pins. WIthout more information its difficult to understand what your problem is to provide assistance. Can you provide more details and/or the actual report design that we can run and test.

Also include the exact version of BIRT you are using.
