Hi Birt Developer(s)

At the moment i'm having a birt report that displays the following data:

Merchant_ID | Merchant_Name | Total_Income | Cost_Of_Sales | Gross_Profit_(%)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
10000 NuPay R 500.00 R 0.00 100%
10144 Marais R 500.00 R 0.00 100%
10146 Randhart R 500.00 R 0.00 100%
10148 BAFF R 500.00 R 0.00 100%
10150 GLIBSA TTU R 500.00 R 0.00 100%
10151 Kredihold R 500.00 R 0.00 100%
10153 Legal Protec R 500.00 R 0.00 100%

and now i want to set a hyperlink for all the merchant/customer IDs and when i click a merchant ID, I want to actual assign the value to a birt parameter, that i will pass to another birt report which is expecting merchant ID as parameter.

Could someone help me with this because i've been working on this for the whole week.

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,
Lucky - Junior BIRT Developer.

Set the Hyperlink type as Drill-Through. Then, select the target report. There will be whatever parameters you have available in the target report. You then set the value expression to row["myColumnValueToPassThrough"]. Each hyperlink gets created in respect to the data binding it can see, and in the case of a data element in a detail row, it will be able to see any data value in that row.
