hi i am using hibernate database.
i have created Data source and Data set for my report Design.
how do i close my JDBC database connection after completing my .rptdesign report template ???
is birt automatically close JDBC connection ???

when birt actually hit JDBC database ???

Hi.. I amd using the same. I guess we dont have to close the connection.

But still i m not sure..

i had also thought of this issue before.

Suppose i do not close a report and keep opening more reports

So, for every report i open, would a new connection be made and the previous connection would close or the previous connections will still be open???

Help will be greatly appreciated.

i hv found one &Auto Commit property of ODA Data Source

if i set the value of &Auto Commit : true will it close the JDBC database connection ??
