Hi

I have crated one report but it is taking too much time in running . To make it run fast i want to use rpt document of this report created by previous run which is saved in common folder. I could see RPT DOCUMENT
even use it as data source but while creating data set for new report get nothing in 1.Bookmark 2.Element Id 3.Result Set Id.

Ping was successful after creation of data source as rptdocument .

Please help any other advice to make run report quickly will be appreciated.

Thanks

When you use a RPTDocument as a data source, your not going to see any of the bookmarks. All you get is each Table in the report as a unique data set. So, if your report has 3 tables, Table1, Table2, Table3, even if they come from the same data set with different parameters, you will see 3 data sets in the RPTDocument data source, labeled Table1, Table2, Table3. No formatting or presentation elements are available in your child report, it treats it just like a database data source.
