Hi

I have asked this question before... but that was related to iServer.

Now I want to achieve the same thing "onDemand".

I have a Flash object Column chart. I want to click on the column and open another report.

Please find attached a simple example that I put together.
This works on iServer but not in onDemand.

The first file resides within dashboard folder.
The second file resides within dashboard/drilldown folder.

The path to the drilldown executable file is given as /dashboard/drilldown/drillreport.rpt.

Please tell me how I need to modify the path to make it work onDemand.

Thanks
Srividya

Setting your path to a relative value should do the trick. Try "./drilldown/drillreport.rptdesign"

Thanks.

Use the following path construct:

~/full/path/to/your/target

They key is to use the full path within your onDemand account witha tilde in front of the path (to signify your home directory).

My 2 cents:
Its tricky with BoD(BIRT onDemand) esp with a flash Object...I had this isssue with the datadesign object that I created. In the cube, where you can link it, it automatically picks your local folder and the looks for that path on the BoD.
See the screen shot....but also create a folder with a similar name in the root ( under your account name folder) in BoD.
Then in the linking: Link to the drill down report as normally, sync up the params etc...then delete the local folder reference and match it to how your drill down report is set up on BoD portal. Ignore the error in BIRT. Save it and upload it. Should work.See attachment.
Just another workaround, if all else fails.

This worked out perfectly! Thank you.
