To make it easier for BIRT customers to identify the Actuate value-add products and components, which they need to take their BIRT deployments to the next level (of scalability, interactivity, etc.) several Actuate products were renamed recently to include BIRT in their name.

For example, Actuate e.Spreadsheet technology was renamed to BIRT Spreadsheet. As a result the free of charge Actuate e.Spreadsheet Designer is now the BIRT Spreadsheet Designer. The iServer e.Spreadsheet option is now the BIRT Spreadsheet option and the e.Spreadsheet Engine and API is now the BIRT Spreadsheet Engine and API.
