Hi,

Currently when I click on a report link in the Iserver Express Report Portal, the report opens up in a new window (call it window B).
This is great, the problem is when you click on another report, it opens in Window B - replacing the first report. This is problematic if you wish to view 2 reports at once.

I have looked all through the admin settings in the IServer management Console and the Report portal and cannot find anything to control this.

Is there a way to do it so the first reports opens in window B and the 2nd report opens in a new window ©?

Regards,

Morgan

Hi Morgan,

This is a known issue in version 10 that is being addressed in the version 11. You can download an milestone release of version 11 here:

Ashwini,

Can you just give us a quick "how it's fixed in 11"? Is it a checkbox "open new window" - or a setting on iserver express?

I'm curious because all our users want that as well.

Thanks,

Hi Al,
Under Information Console Options you will see a checkbox for "Open in new browser window". If you check this option all the report documents will open in different windows. However when running and viewing a rptdesign the same window is used. Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this.
