Hi All,

When I execute the report in report design and Model office iserver the report is generated. But when configured in production iserver, i could able to enter the parameter and then it is showing the below exception
cannot open the connection for the driver: com.actuate.ais.oda

Please let me know what it is the reason and how to avoid this exception.

Thanks,
Prabu G

Hi Prabu,
What database are you using for data source? Chances are, you are missing database driver in your production iServer. The driver jar files needs to be placed in the right folder. Here is an article that describes where to place your jdbc drivers:

Is this a BIRT Report you are trying to execute?

What version of the designer are you using, and what version of the iServer?

Hi Ashwini,

We are using DB9.1 . I could able to execute similar kind of other reports in the same environment of the iserver.

Thanks,

Hi Prabu,
How is this report different from other reports? Are you using information objects? Do you see any details in the log files?

We are using Information object designer. The way database and Information object designer is queried doesnt have any different approach.

Thanks,
