Hi All,

Is there anyway to set security on categories list. For example, I have 2 categories: Category1, Category2, Category3

For users in group1, only Category1 and category2 are listed

For users in group2, only Category2 and Category3 are listed.

Also, is there anyway to set only one menu to administrator users. Currently, there are 3 different mashboard config for 3 different groups of users. When the administrator users login, all 3 menus are displayed.

As you have seen, the user will see each mashconfig file they have rights to loaded when they log in. This is beneficial if there is a core set of tabs for all users and then a smaller set of user or role-based tabs based on who is logging in. In a situation like yours, try to have zero overlap in the mashconfig files (so duplicate tabs do not load). Alternatively, configure your security such that a Mashconfig file does not have multiple roles assigned to it. The Administrator role has a single file, the employee role a separate file, etc...
