Hi,

I am trying to connect to a oracle database which is load balanced but unable to connect due to the below error:


Connection details:

Driver: oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver ( v1.0)

Hi shruti,

There seems to be a bit of information concerning the Oracle thin JDBC driver and load balancing at OTN Discussion Forums : Thin Driver and Load Balancing .... Maybe that will help.

To determine if it is a driver issue, you might try downloading a trial of Actuate BIRT Report designer which includes the DataDirect Oracle driver which is supposed to support a load balanced oracle connection. Load Balancing
