Hi,

We have installed Actuate iPortal on a server where only port that is accessible on that server is the usual 80/443(Apache). Now since we would need to access the tomcat through apache. Is there defined way(how) to do it. Or would i have to go through the usual ApacheHTTP/Tomcat configuration.

Is there an alltogather different solution for the problem.

Thank you in advance,
Amit Jain.

Hi Amit,
There are a couple of different ways I have achieved this in the past using:
mod_rewrite (Apache module mod_rewrite)
mod_jk (The Apache Tomcat Connector - Generic HowTo - Quick Start HowTo)

Hi Amit,

Have you achieved it by using mod_jk. we are trying to achieve the same but no success with mod_jk.
